Lecturer profiles

I'm Satomi, an Edomae sushi evangelist born in Adachi-ku, Tokyo.

I was born on Christmas Day, the year the Ryogoku Kokugikan was completed and raised in Adachi-ku, Tokyo.

Leonardo DiCaprio made me interested in foreign countries and studied languages and business in New York, London, Sydney, and Baylus, Germany and thought about "as a Japanese" during my stay.
Even though I was born to my father who is a sushi chef and mother who is a daughter of a priest,
I feel like I haven't done anything Japanese like Calligraphy, tea celemony and so on.

Through international exchange, I have witnessed that I often do not know about Japan, but I also realized that there is a Japanese culture that I naturally acquire. That is "sushi".

In NY, I had the opportunity to teach about "sushi," and I felt once again that I was naturally accustomed to it.

Also, from my experience as a Japanese language teacher,
Hi, I'm Satomi.

Even though I was born to my father who is a sushi chef and mother who is a daughter of a priest,
I've never done anything Japanese lesson like Calligraphy, tea celemony and so on.

I realized that I don't know Japanese culture very well but I also realized that there is a Japanese culture that I naturally acquire. That is "sushi".

In NY, I had the opportunity to teach about "sushi".

Also, I learned Japan and Japanese from the perspective of foreigners
from my experience as a Japanese teacher,
and have had a hard time explaining them. I learned a lot of things I didn't notice in Japan by interacting with people from different backgrounds.

I'd like to Japanese people who are not interested in Japanese culture to know the roots of SUSHI which is famous all over the world and also to know how to enjoy sushi and in Shitamachi and I started this business.
You would love secret spots in Tokyo.

Why don't you know secret spots and learn how to enjoy there?
